Throughout my career with National companies, all too often, I saw the customer’s needs not given the priority they deserved. I sought out an industry where great customer service and strong interpersonal skills were appreciated and rewarded. I am so pleased to be a part of Prudential ACS Real Estate, the best firm in our industry. After spending 15 years in Sales, Operations and Management, I chose a career in real estate to capitalize on my customer service abilities and a desire for relationship selling. With a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Georgia, and a major in Finance, I am well equipped to discuss and handle the needs of our Commercial Clients.  I am committed to those needs and receive satisfaction from the clients’ success.

I have had the aspiration to become a REALTOR® for many years. I enjoy the challenge and the satisfaction that fulfilling the needs and dreams of my clients and customers bring. With a love for land and a background in construction, farming, the power industry, and banking, I feel that I can serve my community, clients, and customers well.

My interest in becoming a REALTOR® was sparked a few years ago when I started buying and selling real estate as a personal investment.  I loved it so much that I decided to make a career change after owning my own business for the past 17 years.  I have lived in Valdosta all of my life and I am very familiar with the area and surrounding counties.  Being in Sales all of my life has allowed me to meet many people in the community and I have built lasting relationships.  Selling real estate has become my number one passion!

I have always thrived at jobs where my friendly personality could help create a positive atmosphere, so I was excited to be welcomed into a place like Prudential ACS—where I am surrounded by kindred spirits and wonderful attitudes every day. I am currently a senior Journalism major/ History minor at VSU pursuing my dream to be a travel journalist. In true college student form, I have worked in many diverse fields—from being a dental lab tech to karate instructor—because I believe one should never be afraid of new experiences! However, my major has never changed—despite almost achieving tenure as an undergraduate!

I spent 17 years in restaurant management. I love working with the public and have a talent for customer service. I am very excited that I can exercise my qualities in an office setting with Prudential ACS Real Estate. This will enable me to improve and further my knowledge of computers while still working with the public. I also look forward to being able to continue providing outstanding customer service and utilizing my skills to assist our agents with marketing opportunities.

For the past seven years I worked for the Chamber of Commerce in Georgia and Florida. During that time I worked closely with Economic Development, Industrial Authorities, and city and county offices. I am a two-time receiver of the American Chamber of Commerce Executives Award for Excellence. I was also #1 in sales for the Circle of Championships Task Force for Membership Directors across the United States. In 2006 I moved to the area and began with the Valdosta Board of REALTORS® where I assisted New REALTORS® with the administrative paperwork for the Real Estate Commission, Continuing Education hours, and bookkeeping for MLS and Board Accounts. I began with Prudential in April 2007 as the Administration Director of the Commercial & Investment Division.

Before entering the real estate field, I served in the US Air Force for 10 years. My experience included clerical duties, managing data entry, spreadsheet development, and water survival training. I am a graduate of Valdosta Technical College with a diploma in Computer Information Systems. My current position offers me the ability to exercise my knowledge in the computer field and at the same time offers me the opportunity to work with my Prudential family.

I enjoy being a REALTOR® because I am a “people person” and it’s a warm feeling to know I have helped other people purchase the home of their dreams. I am a REALTOR® and the Residential Sales Manager for our Valdosta and Lake Park offices. I am a 1994 graduate of Darton College with an Associate of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. After practicing dental hygiene for eleven years, I received my real estate license.

Through my experience in outside sales, I discovered that working with people was my true passion.  I enjoyed the sense of satisfaction that meeting new clients, finding innovative means of problem solving, and overcoming obstacles could bring at the end of each day.  However, I still lacked the degree of personal involvement with the public that was most fulfilling.  Real estate sales seemed to encompass all the qualities I desired in a career.  As a REALTOR®, I enable families to achieve the American dream.  This profession offers the opportunity for both personal and professional success and growth by allowing me to be a part of turning those dreams into reality one home at a time.

I am a graduate of Darton College with an Associate of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. After 9 years of working in the world of dental hygienics, I wanted a more challenging career. Prior to receiving my real estate license, I was a paralegal for 15 years. I loved my position because it allowed me to help someone in need and really communicate with my client on a one on one basis.  Real estate allows me the same benefit and so much more.  The satisfaction you receive when you find that perfect home, negotiate that contract and close the property with smiles and sometimes tears across the board is unbelievable.  There are a lot of parties involved in the real estate transaction.  I take great pleasure in coordinating, communicating, scheduling and assisting so that closing day is a good day for everyone involved. 

I am honored to be a REALTOR® with the great team of professionals at Prudential ACS Real Estate.  Helping people fulfill the dream of home ownership is my priority.  Because of my experience and education in the mortgage industry, I can assist in directing you for your financing questions.  My previous management experience allowed me to develop skills to coordinate and schedule many activities at one time.  I love selling homes and have acquired some great friendships along the way.

Prior to becoming a REALTOR®, I worked in the banking industry as a teller and Consumer Banker. I also bring years of experience in retail and management. I am a graduate of Abraham Baldwin College. Becoming a Real Estate Agent is one of the best moves I’ve ever made in my life. I enjoy working closely with people to help them and to bring smiles to their faces. I have found real estate to be just as fulfilling as my career of ten years in Dental Hygiene. Helping buyers find their first starter home or their dream home makes me feel privileged to be their agent. I look forward to being a part of this exciting time of my client’s life. Real Estate has been part of my life as long as I can remember.  My Granddaddy was a builder and “Big Daddy” allowed me to toddle along and “help”, so I suppose it was only natural that after college I obtained a Broker license and opened my first real estate company!  I am a Real Estate Broker in Georgia, Florida and Mississippi with experience in residential and commercial sales, residential and commercial property management and Broker/Owner/Manager experience.  Before moving here from Boca Raton, Florida, my position was Property Manager of Mizner Park, a multi-use development of under 1 million square feet in downtown Boca Raton.  Working as head of the Prudential Triple Crown Hometown team is one of my favorite involvements.
